Homecare Worker

Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Homecare Workers. As a Homecare Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to clients in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping. You will also be expected to provide emotional support and companionship to clients, as well as liaise with healthcare professionals and family members.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care such as washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Prepare meals and provide assistance with feeding.

Administer medication and maintain accurate records.

Provide emotional support and companionship.

Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.

Perform light housekeeping duties.

Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care for clients.

Requirements:

A compassionate and caring personality.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork.

Previous experience in a care-related role is desirable, but not essential.

Must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle.

Must be able to pass a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
